This is a funny server. I've tried to connect to it once but it was nearly full, and I was a non-member or something like that. 3rd rule is funniest. That way they fight hard? (That way you get people to hate you) xD I'm gonna try to get onto this server and "hop around"....

I find that most people that had problems with this technical aspect of the game ("bunny hopping, dolphin diving") simply did not take the time (or want to) to learn how to overcome and conquer those who use these tactics!

Like I have said before! This game was designed to be an advanced FPS game, for the Advanced BF gamer!

I hate to read posts that whine about stuff like this! Can you tell :)

Hate to be a negative nanny here Need_2_Kill, but I've noticed you have a knack for actually finding Infantry Only servers and playing on them just to post about it. Not that it's a bad thing... but what do you expect? Kind like dipping your kaboose in boiling water then crying about getting burned.

I hop on a regular basis. In fact, I quasi-dolphin-dive by jumping up in the air, going prone, and landing. By the time I land, I have time to adjust my SVD or M24 scope -- target doesnt have a chance. Other times I use the duck+shoot+hide method. You need to have quick fingers for this .. just stay behind a defensive barrier and strafe in a horizontal direction while scoped (you need to do it slow). Then standup, shoot, crouch on a continual basis at very rapid speeds as your weapon's reload time permits.

One of 3 things happens:
1) Someone complains that I'm being cheap (bunnyhopper, dolphin diver, 'not fighting like a man' ,etc etc).
2) Someone accuses me using some strange hack that I never knew existed like the 'crouch hack'.
3) They find a way to out-maneuver me and take me out.

Option 3 makes life interesting, the rest are like watching a bad episode of Oprah (note the paradox)

You can shun me for it (something I expect), however if you have a big deal with bunny hopping then you need to learn how to kill the hoppers. I have no problem with hoppers because I can dispose of them very quickly.

Don't get me wrong, it's nice that you envision a game where everyone slowly turns corners, takes a knee, a deep breathe, says a prayer, has a life flashback, does his taxes and counts 300 sheep before taking the shot. There are others that use reflex and hand eye coordination to get the job done.

Whatever happens, I'll always adapt. They could turn this game into AAO and I would adapt. My challenge in playing BF2 is not mimicking Black Hawk Down, pretending I'm in the military or playing the game that I think it should be.

My challenge in playing BF2 is just that... a challenge. I like the balance of meticulous tactical wizardry with a blend of spasm inducing close quarters engagements.

If it isn't hopping, it's always something else (claymores, AT sniping, dolphin diving, crouch hacking, camping, whoring, and doing other misc. 'cheap ' things that are native to every FPS game since the beginning of time).

2 things:

First, you got a NICE computer. The graphics look great on yours.

Second, how did you record video like that? The in game recorder only does 3rd person. Are you using fraps?

No im saying from the video...if you watched it. He poked his head to see if i was coming and i saw him. So I run past the alleyway and he jumps and dolping dives. When i turned he was face towards the alleyway and i shoot him on his sides.

Spez, i can see a sniper doing those things because the balance, but to do it in Infantry Only servers only shows how some people suck and want those types of servers. This is my first time actualy being on foot on these kinds of servers, i usualy get in a tank and see how long till they kick me. This type of game play only tells me that all infantry servers are full of bunny hopping skilless little kids sucking on a lillypop because they cant play on a regular server.

Oh and i dont just have a "knack for actually finding Infantry Only servers" but all types of servers that brake the ROE. Why do we all as server admins have to follow the rules and some kids get to make thier servers a playpen?

Dolphin Diving helps me alot. I use to when I need to escape. In a combat fight with my G3GE, I will dolphin dive around with my med pack so that I gain health. Or throw some packs around me while dolphin diving. 2 of the 3 will get used while jumping, then the last is for when you kill him. XD

Do you play in any leagues or ladders or are you just another pub all-star, who whines when he gets owned because you refuse to learn how to kill someone effectively?
