... like I said.. give em a run (like a tryout) and if they do good... just go! if they start shooting their cannon at a tank.... go back and politely ask him to get out... if he begs that he wasn't paying attention or something.. then give him ONE more TV opportunity... if he screws it up 1-2 times... go back and tell him to get out and you need a new gunner. If he DOESN'T get out, then do that trick.

So how did you come about your L337N3$$? Your mom bought you the game and you magically kicked @$$? People like you, and the people who support you by paying for your games, make the community shrink and die. When attitudes like yours spread, have fun playing with your own @$$hole self.

It makes me laugh when someone says they needed to do it - as the gunner was ****. I have had only a little time in the gunner seat (usually could not be bothered waiting around, watching others push in etc) but it is sometimes up to the pilot to get you in the right position. Give some of the gunners a break...pilots are not always the best that they believe

I've yet to do it but i have thought about it so many times, i can't stand it when you get a gunner and line him up perfectly for a shot and he starts using the cannon on a tank/chopper. It wouldn't bother me if he attempted and missed but when he sits there not even using it at all thats what ****es me off.

The other night i had some guy calling me a noob for not killing a tank with my missiles when i was sitting there lining him up for a directly straight tv shot.

Re: Chopper pilots TKing their own gunners

I havent been subject to this little trick but i have been yelled at for missing a tv shot with my missiles. The funny thing was the damn tank was outside of the tv screen. Meaning i would have to fire the missile and then turn it furiously trying to get to the tank. I only fire my cannon at infantry and to gain the pilots attention at a potential tv shot. If the pilot waves off from a perfectly good tv shot i fire my cannon in its direction as we wave off to try and convince the pilot to stay so that i may have my shot.

I have been so p---ed off many times due to the pilot running out of rockets and not thinking of the gunners abilities to fire missiles and cannon rounds too. Very rarely does the pilot stay near the battle when they have no rockets left. As soon as the pilots trigger gives the click click, woosh we are off to rearm and repair, regardless of the gunners ammo status.

Once i was hovering in the gunners seat pummeling enemy soldier after enemy soldier at a major spawn point on dragon. The pilot ran out of rockets and headed back to base to rearm. I was still managing to pick off a few last soldiers with the cannon as far left as it would go as we left the scene. I could have managed another 5-10 more kills if we stayed until we BOTH were satisfied of our kills.

That solo tv guiding is probally one of the lamest things I seen. I've seen more and more people doing it to. Really lame especially when they just go straight up.. Takes a real nerd to master being a dead aim with that. I can do it but not to the extent I've seen some people do it. The bad part about it is, the majority of the people who do it suck as a pilot.

Yeah I've had it happen to me as well. That or they join the other team drive all the way to the base where the helo is c4 it and blow it when u get in and then join back on the other team, or have a buddy get in it and fly off and then they join back on the team and spawn in the helo with their buddy..

Its really common on sharqi actually. That MEC helo being so cheap and over powered (haveing the super gun on the front of it) everyone wants it. So you will have some ass hats who think they deserve it and you don't.

Re: Chopper pilots TKing their own gunners

                      Okay, i have a suggestion:

if someone wants to either be alone, or have their buddy fly, and they say something like "bail out", how about:

YOU RESPECT THAT AND DO IT.

Now, i am NOT neccessarily advocating killing your gunner. i am simply saying, they wouldn't need to if you and the pilot would use the built in communication, and you would heed those. If they don't use them, it means that they have tried, and no one every listens, and so they don't bother.

YOU [anyone who has been killed] BEING A STUBBORN PRICK AND NOT GETTING OUT CONTRIBUTES, DOES NOT HELP THE PROBLEM.

when we don't get the helo, or jet, we all of the urge to say "**** you, it is mine" [shoot, m95, aa, etc.] until they are dead. that is not mature, and again, contributes to the helicoptor.

when my chick played with me (too much wow now... stupid wow) i got the rep as being a helo tk'er. and i was. but only because i would ask politely "hey, can my chick fly with me please? You can have the next one?" however, no one would listen. AND I DID try politely first. the, i would calmy step out, and m95 them. problem solved.

So, to sum it up, heed the pilot's requests, be a bit more mature, and go find something else to do. I couldn't get in the jet the other day, so i went and got my p90, and ambushed tanks, SURPRISINGLY, i had a BLAST at it. there are other things to do besides fly.

It really is true...Listen to the pilot.

I am a good gunner, usually racking up 50+ kills in a round between the TV and cannon, and I like to fly with my clanmates.

Whenever I get in the chopper, I always switch to the gunner seat, and wait for a pilot.

Most suck and do not understand how to set up TV shots.

I don't really care so I go and whore it up with my G36E.

Now, when me and my clanmate want to gun together, if my clanmate gets the helo, and i don't get it, fine. I stick around the spawn and do whatever.

But, if the gunner sucks, usually they are stupid and won't get out.

Or, when me and the best pilot in my clan want to fly together and someone jumps in the gunner seat, and just won't get out. It's annoying.

The pilot got the chopper first, he should get to chose the gunner IMHO...

Yes, I realize I am a gigantic whore. "lol @ Living Ghost"

I don't care. It is annoying.

And, if they absolutely are incompetent and suck badly and do stupid things, they get a kick.

                              Bah. :P
