You can park a vodnik/hummer next to the building on the left in that image and jump up on the sign and then to the roof.

Thats another problem, it was as soon as we spawn and were rushing the first flag that someone pointed it out. The match was restarted (for the reson ''c4'' which no1 had actualy used on our side).

I think your right in saying theres that split second when you spawn (maybe they messed it up the first time? hence the restart(but then that doesnt explain why we saw it first time) but i tried and i couldnt get the c4 out, lay it, switch to detonator, and the press the button quick enough.

You guys got taken by some noob unskilled cheaters. If this was part of a league, report them. There's no legitimate way to get on that building at the begining of a round. Now, over time, you might be able to stack supply boxes like a set of stairs fromthe building next to it (accessible via Vodnik)...

The C4 invicibility could work. They would have to put C4 on the exact place someone would spawn in. Keep having people spawn to that dot until someone spawned on the C4 and then blow it. Creative yes, exploit definitely.

Even if they do it once, spam the area with grenades or arty and the problem is solved.

The two possible things I could think of from experience.

1. FF was off and they used C4.
2. They put C4 on a spawn and blew it when their teammate spawned. You have like a 1 second invincibility window if you don't move when you spawn.

He didn't do it to himself. Someone placed C4 at the spawn point and then waited for a teammate to spawn in. Then he blew it immediately, sending the teammate into the air.

Then everyone just spawned on the guy.

Ok it all makes sence now, thanks everyone.

Unfortuatly it wasnt part of a league, it was a friendly that was set up about 10mins before the match.

Perhaps there is an easier way to time it...

One person gets TKed in the preferred place and gets c4 layed under him...
Medic revives and c4 is blown... would that also work..?

I've seen another exploit that makes you nearly invincible to gunfire,yet allows you to kill at will on Karkand.I'm not going to elaborate any further as there would be those that would just 'have' to try it.Needless to say I'm SS'ing players using it and will forward them to the powers that be for their reveiw.I caught seven just last night.HOOAH!

If it's there own server it's possible for them to turn friendly fire on and off during game, which is probley what happened. They just turned it off for less than a few seconds to get up there.

There is but I doubt it.

Anyway that rooftop is not accesible by vehicle.

It was either done by C4 FF off, or the 1 second invincibility - If you want to prove this, shoot a tank shell As soon as someone spawns, It happens to me sometimes, spawn camping tank whore uses shell and woop I go into the air. Must admit, this is difficult to do, could see a lot more of this happening though, they would have to launch the c4 when his spawn timer hit 0

it's a jump hack...

it causes you to jump up high really far, and parachute back down...pretty much on to any building you want

I KNOW HOW TO GET UP THERE. a few roofs along there is one with a sign sticking out. you park a Vodnic next to it and jump on the sign, then jump on the roof. From then on you just jump from building to building and use supply crates when nessesary

Reminds me of a glitch on halo 2 Zanzibar map where if you walked into a certain point of a wall for long enough you got pushed through and went of the bottom of the map then suddenly bounced onto the roof of the building.

people also use the vodniks to jump into roofs, i've done it myself a couple of times, although it takes practise it might have been their case

It was nuts indeed. We asked them how they were doing it after the match and they just said 'its a secret'

We played on their server wich had battlerecorder conveniently turned off.

It was only a friendly though, and they were absolutely crap. The odd thing was, they got on that roof every time even if we killed all of them with nades (checked under tab)

They only stopped when we finally took Hotel

I would have taken pics of it, then either halted the match and contacted a ladder/league admin (like TWL rules) or finish the match and then dispute it.

If it was TWL, you should have checked the settings before the match. BR, I believe (was last I checked) is required to be on for all matches. Should have requested it be moved to your server or that they fix their server.
