I've done this one a few times recently and it's a definite head-slapper:

Ripping around in a jeep and I hop out for whatever reason, not noticing I am right on top of an AT mine I placed there a few minutes ago. Unoccupied vehicle over friendly mine = boom. Me = dead.

It's funny I can usually spot enemy mines but I have developed a real blindspot for friendly ones.

the sad part is that this happens to me all the time still. On ghost Town i will drive a jetski to a far part of the map and then grapple to a spawn poiunt. but whenever i get out the jetski roles over me

being ran over by your own vehicle, or crushed by one driven by a clanmate who gets too close to the wall/fence.

I was playing shongua and we had no flag left, a guy in our team accidently destroyed the friendly transport helli trying to get a second flag....... 5 tk after only 2-3 mins the map started!!!:laugh:

Hmmm, most humiliating? I've got a whole account worth of those. Probably the best one was when I was attempting to paratroop into the MEC base on Gulf Of Oman. I was so busy shooting them that I forgot to steer the damn 'chute and landed about 2 ft in front of the tank. Needless to say, it wasn't empty. I had them laughing over the chat for the whole round.

I always hate when I'm putting C4 on a tank or APC and the guy sees me and I have to blow myself up along with the vehicle.

Back when the AA was completely worthless. On clean sweep, shooting a helo down only to watch the burning fuselage fall right on top of me before I could get out of the AA. I think that was my first kill with the AA.

What about throwing a nade and having it hit the flag pole, bounce back and kill me. Doh!

Having a Blackhawk kill me from behind by dropping it's wheel on me and then t-bagging me. I still have nightmares from it.

Was on Great Wall map. standing on the wall i sniped a guy, was very happy with my shot and was about to run off when i was hit by a falling supply crate

i was not a happy bunny to say the least

A guy threw a nade from the otherside of a wall, ran into kill me while I ran out to kill him and he blew himself up with his own nade that he threw when he ran in.

Excuse the redundancy...I also posted this in the "Funniest KILL" thread, albeit NOT a kill, more a LACK of kill on anyone ELSE's Part...

Playing on Warlord - If you are playing Brit and you spawn at the FAR LOWER LEFT SPAWN point, be prepared to pull the rip cord right away...You spawn IN THE AIR...My first time must have looked so funny from the ground...Diving into the street with NO chute...DEAD ON ARRIVAL, FREAKIN NOOB...I sensed it coming from anyone who saw it...LOL...All the while, even funnier, I'm thinkin...Sure is foggy on this map...It was the freakin CLOUDS....Never thought to pull the rip cord...Started trying to find the "9" key in the dark ( I normally play with the room lights out and the "9" key is NOT in the regular location on a ZBOARD...ROFL). When I figured out why the WIND was howling past my ears...TOO LATE...SPLATTED another BF2 SF NOOB. Man...EMBARRASING isnt even CLOSE....But, it's now my favorite server...

I was in the alleyways on Karkand around the Hotel with some squadmates behind me, took my grenade out to throw towards the flag and as i clicked a supply crate landed in front of me, grenade hit the crate, bounced behind me and took out me and the three squad mates behind me, was not a happy bunny...
