realy, I know , and I also know that next week there will come a solution to the commander glitch, wich will make it impossible to glitch , but I don't know if we will have to install the patch, it could be a serversided only one .

if it was stated on these forums that have huge amounts of visitors, i think EA would have to reset everyones stats

I dont believe that, for a start u need an admin.....i believe the commander glitch should be posted on this forum so that people know that if they do it they will be reset. Other sites are posting it for the reason stated above. Its not condoning cheating its just a heads up

The glitch is that a winning commander can get his score multiplied not by 2, but by many times x2, because an admin is doing something wrong at the server's side.
And I didn't know about print screen working only in-game. Bad way to find out...

or intentionally, with admin commanders like that loser ta firestorm.

It is cencored because in the wrong hands other people can cause you to be at the center of the glitch givng you tons of points and then a stats reset if you are commander. If it were just to affect the person glitching then by all means post how to do it let the idiots get reset cause it is way to obvious what you did but when you can use it to mess with other peoples accounts it shouldnt be posted.

Ok all well and good...but this is 1 of the top BF2 forums and therefore, i beleive it should be posted due to the reasons in my post above....which has a link explaining the commander glitch, as seen on other forums (and wasn't censored for some reason). Its seems like censoring it here devalues the usefulness of this forum when u can find the information by googling it, is posted on other forums and is ,therefore, no secret. What about protecting the individuals who might fall foul of this glitch (posts on this forum already). If they were aware of how it works they might not have fallen foul. I for one, will never fall foul of this glitch cos now i know how it works, i won't be commander

Well I have seen it posted twice. Once was a translation off of CEA's web site....quickly censored and then once on BF2s forums...again quickly censored. And your right the only true way to avoid being an innocent victom is not play commander until the glitch is fixed. Besides...it really helps no one to post how it is done. You have to be an admin to perfom the glitch anyway so there is nothing you can do to prevent it if you are playing commander and you arent an admin. Like stated earlier the only true way to prevent it from happening is not play commander.

I will go commander if noone else will do it.Simply cuz I'm new and my stats are way low anyway.And the fact I could'nt care less about stats.
