so who has this game? and would you recommend it over getting bf2sf?

depends what you like
BF2SF is like the hotel at Karkand spread over an entire map - basically lots of infantry fighting with some vehicles
ROO is very similar in gameplay style to Day of Defeat - single shot kills - and it has tanks as well

BF2 & COD2 servers are full of nubs who can only play with m/gun lead showers. There are m/guns in RO:OST, but bolt action rifles show who has the skill & who has not

I would DEFINANTLY get RO over BF2:SF. Great game. Lots of fun. Too much to explain, but for $25 its a steal.

I wouldnt, thats just because it looks like crap on my pc, you walk hella slow and Im more of a regular gaming guy. with a crosshair and everything, nothing personal just perference.

BF2Sf has tons of insane firefights and lots of teamwork, as opposed to this turn that has none of the above.

roost is alot better than a 'arcadeish' game like bf2, cs, bf2sf, halo, cod 2 et c. It actually takes skills and tactics to be somewhat succesful. You actually need some basic comp skills to have it run at its best.

If you think you 'run slow'/whatever in the game then well im glad ppl like you arent playing tha game and thus ruining the gameplay and environment. thanks you! i think the sims would be enjoyable for those kind of players.

Absolutely no twitch and shoot game but rather a aim and kill, get shot and die game.

Most BF players need an entire 30 round clip to make a kill, RO:OST relies on skill.

and lots of teamwork

I'm not saying ROOST is a bad game, it's fantastic, but if I had to choose between it and BF:Special Forces then I would choose SF.

I just have more fun playing it. Simple as. IMHO!

Red Orchestra is really well done game if you're into that realistic gameplay. I've always liked arcade shooting games with Halo being the best and CS:S being the worst. Red Orchestra is a good "Friday night had a couple beers" game for me.
