There really shouldnt be a line for ANY vehicle/plane/chopper. If somebody else is waiting for it, just go grab something else or (shocked) walk! You do no good for your team just standing on the runway with your e-penis in your hand....

        Re: Bloody Pilots

I personally loved it before when the jets were over powered, atleast 10 people around the jets and choppers. So I ended up sticking with Tanks and APCs mostly, even taking out the mobile AA on maps like dragon valley, and daqing (where they had a chance back then). Now that it's a little more balanced I've actually got a fair amount of chopper time, and even some time as a bombider. So in my eyes there is less of this over all, before it was really bad, and I'd be half way into the map with a ground vehicle and the TK war at sometimes both airfeilds would just be dying down.

I've never Tked for a vehicle, because I started out taking all the forgotten vehicles, I could always bank on a empty AA or APC back at a main base. Hell or I just grab a buggy and drive to a empty armour peice somewhere on the map, even if it's a enemy one.

I wish there was some kind of line up system for the vehciles though, so it wasn't a shoving match on the vehicle spawn. but it couldn't be based on rank.

Plus on some servers there are admins, and nothing beats someone TK for a vehicle, and then get insta kicked. Now they gotta spend another few mins finding another server, and hopefully one they haven't already been kicked from.

And please remember, all this drama your causing is over a game, that is nothing more then a book or sitcom, however it requires human participation, and co-operation. In this game especially though, there are many different ways of having fun, combat wise. If you don't get a plane, or that chopper right away, why not do some ground work? I know it's not the BEST infantry game, but it's got some good features and moments. C4 traps, ambushing armour as AT, sniping a blackhawn pilot with a M95, and killing all the passengers when it crashes, sneaking up on a tank in a APC and letting it have it, while you keep driving and dodging the shells, the feeling of driving a tank, and activley seeing people/vehicles running from you, being in the back of a infantry attack as a medic, and sniping the straglers, running in for a revive or health pack toss.

Having a smoke/drink/snack/dinner and commanding, and doing a decent job of it.

There are other things to do aside from blow crap up in a air peice.

As soon as I get in a plane it's mine. That means get the **** out of the way and don't stand in front of it like a moron. There's way too many babies playing BF2.

i feel your pain, but on a different level. too often i'm busting my butt as infantry while my team is getting slaughtered because a lot of team mates are goofing off at the helo or jet spawnpoints, hoping to get in.

The other day for example i hopped into a helo after which the pilot flew off limit to kill us both. I was then shot by another pilot who then exclaimed " it's my plane" << (afraid i had to kill him -oops)
This should be fun for all , not just an excercise to see how many kills the same peeps can get every time.
Maybe ive missed something here, but i'm sure i cant be the only one who finds this behaviour fekkin annoying.

I hate them so much, I hate jets more than Asparugus, and the people who fly them. They do this, act like the bought the jet of EA and no one else can use it, repetitively bomb people, go back to base for more ammo and keep bombing, and then call them selves GOOD? You dont know how much this agrevates me, I even think sometimes about quiting BF2 because it is that bad. I hate jets, if I could I would removie them completely. Accualy, maybe EA just needs to put about a 1-2 minute reload timer on the bombs. What do you think?

                      Re: Bloody Pilots

Well PlanetSide has queues kind of. When you create a vehicle you have to wait in "queue" for yours to come up. But frankly if the guy TKing you for the thing has more flight experience and a better shot at actually allowing the ground forces (yes there are those of us who actually try to kill stuff without an air asset) then I have trouble seeing it from your side, because frankly I'm in it for the win and the points and if you're costing my team valuable match-deciding assests such as planes I'm tempted to TK you myself.

However, pilots of equal skill (obviously I know this is all hard to determine in the game right then and there, but hey if he's going to lie down in front of your jet why not make some conversation with the guy) then there's no reason to TK for something. Stop costing me points and grab another vehicle and have the decency to carry all those other carrier spawners in the heli to the front lines. Seesh.

The point? None really. I don't care who the hell's flying just fly well or not at all... at least on the ranked servers.

well, first of all, the only pilots that will be the ones who repetedly bomb you are the ones able to escape missile fire and ennemy air, wich is a difficult task (except if your chinese, in wich case its just too easy). also, can you destroy an armor piece in one bombing run? didnt think so. well, it takes lots of skill s to be able to do that, want it or not. Especially if that armor piece is constantly moving.

About the 1 or 2 minute timer, it would not be a bad idea. people would actually have to learn how to use the MG to kill planes/helos/vehicles! i think its only the reload of bombs (and maybe missiles) who should be limited, because otherwise the plane becomes useless as soon as you have used your MG ammo, and thats pretty soon if you use it constantly.

I was at a base in a tank, with an allie tank and apc. One bombing run, killed all 3 of us. lol I always see people bomb people in one run, I dont even see the jet either, even on foot hiding, they somehow "know where you are" at all time. Arg, when ever I hear a jet, I just run for cover now. lol

But yes, if you know anyone that talks to members of EA or something, maybe mention the time limit on bombs or what ever. On the carrier, on the deck, put a few pairs of foot prints and next to them say "stand here when doing nothing waiting to show off in the jet." LOL

It's not BF2, just games in general. You can tell a lot about a person's
character and personality just by the way he/she plays and behaves.

Hey, I feel that I am very good in a jet with 80 hours recorded and about 5000 something kills but sometimes on takeoff my joystick starts to fvck up and I need to calibrate it. This causes me to crash on takeoff.
