You have to understand, these forums see quite a bit of trollish actions and folks just are sick of it. Thus, when someone derides the game they've gathered here to yap about, their attitude becomes hostial rather than understanding.

When I was talking about realism, I know it can't be, but my point was bringing ideas to improve.

I know I overeacted in my first post, I apologised for that to BF2 gamers. it's just that I was so frustrated (I destroyed my mouse, good I had two). Now my blood flow has return to normal and I'll take a break. But I'll might come back, especially if I could sort out my crash to desktop problem.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to hit a soldier in the head (One Shot) After jumping/rolling because of the enegry loss. You might hit near them, but hit them i think not.

I totally agree with you, not that I'm on crack :) , but for the head shot. I was the victim, not the shooter, and more than once :hmm:

OMG I KNEW IT, MY OLD COMPUTER STARTED ACTING UP FOR NO REASON! I had just quit AA about 10 min before and the computer started beeping, and the harddrives where whurring, and the little cpu activity light thingy was flashing really fast...its like they were tracking my computer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As some have mentioned, if you want more realism in BF2 there are a couple mods worth checkin out.
Personally, I don't find them well suited to my tastes. I'm a fun over form sorta guy. I think it's interesting having some real world elements in the game to promote my ability to relate with it, but realism doesn't make me... *ahem* (I'll not go there)

If you're having trouble running the game (as in you're getting crashes) the first thing you should do is make sure you're system is nice 'n clean. Check to make sure you don't have a ton of background processes running. Run a spyware/virus checker (use this if you don't have a good one: http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ safe, free, and you don't have to install anything).

Defragging your harddrive doesn't hurt either.

exactly. Play the game if you like it, dont play it if you dont. What is the point in posting how you dont like the game. Nobody cares. I LIKE the game and nobody cares about that either.

I think too many people are not realizing that BF2 is meant to be unreaslistic. It's an Arcade game, not Operation Flashpoint.

We're not a Warlord nation at all, considering no one person has supreme power over all three branches of the Government, not including State and Local Governments. ( Nor the Military. The President does not have total control over Military forces. )

Mmm... I concur. I'd also assume that we agree that America is now an immense menacing and evil super-power that wants to infect their capitalism under the guise of the ever benevolent and wonderful idealism of democracy - unto the rest of whatever they can get their hands on.

I mean, after all - The US can tell anyone to not produce nuclear warheads, and then do whatever they want. And the UN? heh heh, THEY PRACTICALLY ARE THE UN. :p

I'm sorry, if there's anything to really be afraid of- it would have to be America. There's nothing more terrifying than a self-righteous president who believes his government knows whats good for the whole world, and can change his ambitious and power-based agenda at any whim. Especially if they seem to have the most powerful military and warfare in the world.

Do you realize what forums you just posted on? this is a Battlefield 2 website. meaning the people on here LOVE BF2.

People here actually love BF2? With all the whiny posts update after update and the "im gonna quit BF2 forever threads" you'd think that this is the DICE developer lynching community.
