I doubt anyone in this thread will be swayed either way. But all I have to say is this: I have yet to meet someone who has used macs for a while, and then converted to using PC's claiming they are "better." I know at least 10 people off the top of my head who have converted from PC's to macs. Why? Because they make sense.

Also, as a Video Graphics Artist and Video Editor - unless you're using top-end stuff (i.e. Davinci for color correction/Smoke for compositing/etc.) Macs and FinalCut are the way to go. They are cheaper, more reliable, and easier to use. Avid just sucks.
