Well, I just entered a server and joined a squad on Karkand and spawned on his location. He was at the market capping the flag and started chucking ammo bags at me when I spawned so I chucked a smoke grenade at him. And then he died????? WTF?????

You can kill someone with a smoke nade, they just have to be previously injured and you have to physically HIT them with it like nade to body contact....

so the question stands - what weapons is tracked as the smoke grenade

if you kill someone with a smoke grenade - is it considered a road kill?

i've hurt people just by running my soldier into them. I also killed a guy by landing on top of him.

there was a topic about this a couple of days ago, the guys doesnt have to be injured, or low health, i did this to a teamate at karkand, waiting for the hummer....we both just spawned, and i killed him as a was goofin off, and threw a smoke grenade at his head....we both had a laugh....

It states that you killed them with smoke grenade. You can also do this with a hand grenade without the explosion.

seriously i have thrown nades at someones head and the impact killed him not the bang! (it said you killed etc b4 it went bang). This happened more than twice!
