Okay...the original post is rediculous. Yes, it sucks when people take off by themselves in a vehicle and leaves everyone behind. However, there are situations where this is beneficial to everyone. Being one of the guys who loads in quickly, I form a squad and immediately drive off if it is a double-assault map like mashtuur. I'm not going to sit around and wait for the late-loaders, as we can already have the Tank moving and be heading to their tank flag by that time.

TK'ing on purpose, no matter what the situation will get you kicked on our server if it's intentionally done to keep others out of vehicles or to get YOU in one. I'm sure this is the case in most privately-adminned servers as well.

Yes transport vehicles are for transporting you, wow you get a deliciously stale forum COOKIE for your oh so obvious statement.

The point is that losers jump in them and drive themselves 100 yards to a tank or jet/heli just to simply beat those on foot.

I always feel bad when I load in early and hop in a jeep and just fly off to get to another better resource quicker and some poor sap spawns in about a second after I just take off and yell's "Hey! I need a ride!"

Too bad, I typically leave them almost always. See the thing is I've done it before where I stop and wait, but instead of getting in with me, the sap finds the APC right next to me and goes "OOOOOhhh.. I want the APC instead" and gets into the APC instead of with me in the jeep and then proceeds to take off. WTF? Arg.

Anyways, I start to take off again, and lo and behold, another guy spawns and yells "Hey! I need a ride!" So I stop again, reverse it again, and go back to pick the guy up. But because he was so impatient he instead was running the whole time I was reversing it and he has now gotten to the other slightly farther off jeep and gets into that, takes off and leaves me behind again. OMFG! Arg.

By now, the enemy has capped the first critical point and I've done nothing but gone forward 100ft and back 100ft a couple of times. So the enemy has now some critical asset like an attack chopper, a strategic position on the map and we are still d*cking around in our main base.

So I take off yet again! And... yes... wait for it.... another guy spawns and lets out the telltale call of the omfgineedaride n00b variety. So, yet again, being the nice guy I'm trying to be and already 2 n00bs have left me hanging after I've tried to get them in, I reverse it AGAIN, but this time something fantastic happens. The f'er runs right into my vehicle that I'm reversing and it's a bit harder to steer/see and I get a TK. Wait for it... then the punish comes.

Oh ffs. Screw you ride needers. lol

Like I said, most times I say whatever and just drive off rather than spend the time it takes to figure out what those first 30 seconds are going to end up being. I can accomplish more by myself in those confusing first seconds than I could waiting for people to group up and get a clue and then working together. It's just a different mindset for me in the first minute of the game.

Early bird gets the worm. I don't get mad at others taking off without me, and I hope others understand when I do it to them.
