I don't really care; I'm fine with the way it is, but if they add blood, I'm fine with that too.

        However I voted yes.
is it a bad thing if we get rid of a couple BF2 rugrats?

If DICE adds blood, then the game will almost certainly be switched to a "M" content rating. Even if blood was added as an option, I doubt the game would retain its "T" rating.

Besides, in a game where you're healed instantly by medic bags, what sense does it make to have blood splattered all over the walls?

you know EA doesnt give a **** about polls, the best youll get is blood in a mod.

and none of the major good mods will have blood anyway.

it doesnt hurt the game, go play counterstrike stupid 10 year olds who want blood.

Well, it's been stated. If blood is introduced to Bf2 age limitations go up, profits go down, support goes down. That's why I voted no.
If you have blood though (like in a mod) it would be cool to get rid of that yellow indicator (you know the one that shows you, that you've hit someone) and make him bleed instead.

I agree that it should be an option. If you turn it on then only you can see the blood. Dice will never do it though. I dont even think they pay attention to these polls.

Even if the game changes rating to M+ kids will still play it. How do you think CS got the way that it is now? All this bologna about getting your game rated teen to have a wider audience is just a bunch of bull. Kids are gonna get their hands on a game they want no matter what it's rated. We want blood and we want it now... (btw, shouldn't this be in the DICE forum? maybe someone will actually pay attention to it there)

                      Voted yes.

I would at least like the option to turn blood and gore on or off, like most Valve games.

Blood is a gimmick - who gives a sh1t. I'd rather them spend time fixing bugs and improving the depth of gameplay.

It just won't happen. You can blame a certain European country's game laws for the lack of blood. I'll give you a hint, it starts with a G and ends in "ermany."

                            Interesting.

There's no possibility of an North American version that enables splats? I know a lot of other games have ben forced to go that route.

I've seen enough gore to last a lifetime. Why the fascination with virtual entrails? Adding blodd to the game will change the rating from Teen to Mature. If they can't add simple 4th tier unlocks because of memory issues, then imagine on 64 player Karkand, the server trying to draw all the blood effects would grind to a halt. Each client side computer would easily require at least 4gb of RAM. No thanks, the game is fine the way it is.
