Re: The unwritten law of medics.

i actually changed my localization files so it says "you must have accidentally forgiven him, please be more careful next time" when i forgive. unfortunately i never see that because i never forgive.

basically, if you shoot me, kill me with a hand grenade, run over me cause youre an idiot, etc, i punish.

unless its somebody i know or respect and they revive me, i punish.

just dont tk people, if i tk i accept the punishment.

i agree 100%. i know how annoying it is when i throw a nade into an ally where someone is, and my teammate doesnt see the nade and runs in to get tked, and get punished for it. when i get tked for my fault, or if it was an accident in anyway, i forgive. only when someone comes up to my face and tks me do i punish

              what are you talking about?

if your talking about punishing causing your score to drop...it doesn't

Tk's, Vehicle Damage, Team Damage cause your score to drop...getting punished for it just adds to a count of how many more punishes are needed until you're autokicked from the server.

yep.... that's what I've heard too.

Still frustrating when somebody runs in front of your tank or APC during heavy firefight or something + they punish for their mistake. :hmm:
If they punish. .... I sometimes will type out a team comment to shame them. But whatever. ... ....

Punish is all a joke...most servers only a real TKer will get auto kicked for it. Dunno why it peeves everyone so much.

Re: The unwritten law of medics.

I don't punish unless someone does something absolytely bloody stupid.

Like I flanked a badguy, and me and another guy shot him. So I stood up, switched to medic kit to heal my team mate, and he blasted me. = Punish.

You're tearing a new one having killed 5 guys already and the screen looks like
                    Kaybackl[M11-87]Noob1
                    Kayback[M11-87]Noob2
                    Kayback[M11-87]Noob3
                    Kayback[Grenade]Noob4
                    Kayback[Grenade]Noob5
                    Jackinplane[F35]Noob6
Jackinplane[Teamkills]Kayback. = punish. It wasn't like things werent under controll already, idiot.

Another was in Sharki in the TV station, I ran in behind the goodguys and we were capping the flag, when one of th eguys turns around and blasts me away. = Punish.

However if it's a heat of the moment thing, But I still think you caused the TK through negligence, you've got 15 seconds to say sorry. Use them wisely.

If however there is a gunfight going on and run up to the badguy and see a grenade come lying on the floor,Oh well, that han happen to anyone.

Or the mine is in a good spot and I accidently hit it.

Or the aircraft hits 5 enemy and me, then thats cool.

It bugs me when people havn't hit the ground yet (after running over your grenade that you threw before they came charging up like Rambo) and they've punished you.

I hate people who punish when they run over your claymore. FFS it has a big red sign above it saying DANGER DANGER WALK OVER THIS AND IT WILL KILL YOU. YOU WOULD HAVE TO BE A TARD TO WALK OVER THIS CLAYMORE. That's what the red warning sign says to me anyways.

Re: The unwritten law of medics.

Totally agree. I also have issues with people leaving claymores in idiotic places. Like the spawn points of a flag.

This wasn't such an issue pre 1.2 when you could blow claymores up with grenades. You could mine the spawn to protect yourself while taking flags, and detonate it as you left afterwards.

Re: The unwritten law of medics.

Well another time our VOIP squad were attacking the south village all by ourselves. All 6 of us went into the village and wasted about 4-5 of the enemy, nuetralised the flag and what do ya know? Artillery kills the lot of us. All 6 of the whole squad are dead. Only trouble was, it was our own artillery. So i broke the rules just once.

I went up to our commander, and put a whole clip into him. First time in a long long time i actually tked on purpose. Not that i would do it again any time soon. I was just soooo peeved at having lost the entire squad - and not to mention the flag as reinforcements arrived and they recaptured the flag.

After that, the commander barely used the artillery. Except on the enemy home base.

                            The enemy had Home Base?
I just usually punish pilots who come on a bombing run when a whole squad are taking the enemy base.

The one that REALLY ****es me off is when I lay down some AT mines, an enemy drives over them and dies but manages to take some nearby friendly with them and I get punished for it. Yeah because I made them stand right next to a mine with a big red skull on it, right? Grrr....
