I dunno, probably, the 7900GT is only 25 bucks more and it performs better than the 7800GTX lol.

Yes, the 7800 series is being discontinued, so if you want one buy it soon.

I believe the 7900 series are cheaper to manufacture, so probably yeah, the 7800s are being discontinued.

yep, 7800's are made with an older more expensive manufacturing process, they will be phased out rather soon because they are less profitable for nvidia to make and it cannot affor to sell them for cheap... thats where the 7600's come in etc.. made on the .90nm process.

You can count on that being discontinued. AGP is done, and like the other 7800's, expensive.

You can still SLi, just means you have to have 2 different cards. So one will not be at its full potential.
