All the online vendors raise the price when the intial supply gets low. You'd better buy now if you want close to MSRP.

Yea, supply is a huge deal with these after the 7800GTX-512 fiasco, but I'm pretty sure that Nvidia would keep a pretty hefty supply with such a major release.

Props to ATi for keeping the price stable with the X1900XT/X though.

Thats a load of crap im sorry unless you can back that statement up. I dont mean to flame, but all reports I have read is that the manufacturers have been sitting on parts for months waiting for the "official launch". These are .90nm parts and are cheaper to manufacture and are more reliable, and faster performing off the bat. Yeilds appear to be good, and there is excellent avaliability.

This wasnt a paper launch and I dont see any evidence of a supply shortage, but go ahead and spread wild rumors... jeeze, get people to waste thier money and buy all in a hurry.

Dont mean to flame but please, back that up, because i think your dead wrong.

Yea, good call though. Vendors have been stockpiling the cards for a while.

But it doesn't make a different when the stuff being shipped is a giant Motherboard. Newegg's warehouses are hardly small you know.

I would imagine newegg's warehouses are extremely organized and expidite quickly.

Also, we are talking about video cards, not motherboards. "hardly small" doesnt matter when they are organized well.

WHAT-IS-YOUR-POINT? I'm saying the prices of the cards won't go up due to lack of supply, I'm lost to what you're saying.

How much hardware do you buy? I buy stuff every couple months and always find it to be the case especially with newegg. When alot of people buy and stock gets low, prices go up. For instance the X800 GTO2. This is just how it works.
