    What am I doing wrong?

Ok, the internet won't let me access 192.168.1.1, that lets you access application and gaming. I'm asking this to you people because you seem to know so much about computer stuff.

I need to access that website.

Just wondering but is that your router?

That is indeed for a router as stated above. Its not actually a website. Your router menu opens up with html. If you have no router then it wont work.

Yeah that is a Class C address, that means it can only be within your network not a website. What exactly are you trying to do?

Yea it's a router, I know that. Im trying to access it, but it wont let me cuz i messed up my IP address, for a moment I couldn't play BF2, then i fixed it by turing it off then back on. But seriously, I need help with this, every time I try to host a game on RoN(Rise Of Nations, I dont play it as much but me nd my friend like to kick the PC's ass.) I need to change the IP address on Applications & Gaming. So now I can't play the game because I messed up. Before it came up with a menu that I had to type in the password and username, but now it just goes to No Page To Display

Try going into your network settings and under support check your default gateway to make sure its still 192.168.1.1. You said you changed ip's so i think its possible you changed your gateway. I'm just guessing but check anyways.

You may need to change from a static gateway to variable again. I've had the same problems after LAN's

I am going to move this to the hardware section so that more of the right can view it and help you.

                  Ok, here is my input:
                  1. Unplug your router for 5 seconds, then plug it back in.
                  2. Start->Run->and then type 'cmd' and hit enter to get to the command prompt
                  3. Type 'ipconfig' and hit enter
                  4. 'Default Gateway' will be your router's IP address
                  5. Enter that IP address into your web browser.

                  e.g. http://192.168.1.1

Re: What am I doing wrong?

Also, most well known companies have a default username AND password as admin.

                    User: admin
                    Password: admin

So if you do a reset on it, it will default back to the factory user/pass. (which if its not what i put above, it should be in the manual or on the manufacturers website)

                      Which begs the question:

Are you having problems because you're not able to access your router's web interface at all or because you don't know the username and password?

So did you try the complete 'ipconfig' suggestion (including the part about unplugging the router) I made above to get your router's address?

                            I can't work with ignorance.

Networking seems to be the hardest subject for people to comprehend.
