    Amazing.

In SLI still best cards on the market....a single card isn't the X1900XT the best?

Sorry, i know its a 1900 but im not sure about the Xs and XTs

Wow dude I was looking at your PC pics and specs and I was wondering, exactly what is the point of dual monitors...for you?

I mean I know alot of people use them in corporations to easily run multiple programs on one system.

Also, I didn't know Opteron processors worked on regular AMD mobos....are they 939 pin?

Also, for your vid card, what with the dual numbers?

Are they for core clock and overall speed...or what?

Sorry, I have a umm, semi understanding of alot of computer specs.
The 7800GTs were never tha much, you may be thinking of the 7800GTX.

Dual monitors are so I can do 2 thigns at once, like play BF2 and keep and eye on my temps, or browse the web and keep an eye on my torrent downloads.

    Yes they make S939 Opterons.

2 numbers are core speed and memory speed.

If he has an SLI board (which I really doubt) he should get a single card with the idea that in the future he can get another identical card and run it in SLI mode.

All I can say is, there's nothing more beautiful than SLI-AAx16. Antialiasing rendering mode that gives you full scene 16x AA, it's worth it.

                  Single card: 512mb 7800gtx OC

Not even a x1900xt can beat that!

Yeah, don'y buy the 128mb card. The 256 one may be slower but it will sure pay off having twice as much ram for bf2. 128 for bf2 = bad.

ATI and nVidia are both slashing their prices very soon. not sure exactly when. if you can wait then maybe you should look around on the web and see when those new prices are expected and then decide if it worth the wait or not.

Your graphics are integrated PCI Express. http://www.ati.com/products/radeonxpress200series/
Integrated means it's built into the motherboard. I believe you should have a PCI Express slot also. What is the model of your computer, it sounds like a prebuilt system.

I recommend a Connect3D X800 GTO. You can flash it to a 16p X850 XT. You can find one for around $150.

forget the 6600 series and buy a 6800GS or if you have more money than 7800GT...
