Well the extra RAM is really wehat you need in this game, its soo hungry for it and needs every MB it can get, so if you are just playing BF2, i would say get the 256MB card, however for other games the speed of the GT really helps it pull away. Check out some benchmarks and look at the overall performance in a range of games you might play or use it in.

Well guys,

I ended up buying the BFG 6600GT OC at my newest favorite local store (Shhh... I only moved here this summer...) Kingston Computer Planet. $209 CDN, then $50 mail-in rebate to be filled out.

Also picked up a new Vantec PSU to go with it... installing soon! Hope this gets me promoted to Corporal soon!! (PS: In Real Life, I'm a Master Corporal ).

He may be a Master Corporal IRL and he may be my older brother...but I outrank him in-game and get to boss him around as his squad leader ... and THAT is what matters
