Help my brother choose his AGP video card upgrade

My brother has a bit of a crappy desktop system (Athlon XP 2500+, 1 GB RAM) and he'd like to upgrade the video card enough to play Battlefield 2 better than he has been on his Laptop with X200 graphics...

go for GT, the memory speeds are faster. i was also choosin myself(b4 i knew about GPUs) between the vanilla 256mb and GT 128mb, untill noni(forum member) said that the faster memory speeds make the GT far more better than vanilla even tough it has half the ram. add a few buks and you can go for a 256mb one.

Id go for the 256 version. A 128 is slow for BF2.

i have Nvidia 6600 256mb Pcie and all graphics on full exept for Linear.. rocks... Next time i gonna have 7800GT

The 6600GT is the winner here. Try get the 256MB version of it.
