My New rig- plz comment

Hey guys well i just ordered my new rig from newegg today. Here it is:

amd 64 3000 venice 1600FSB , (outperforms a intel p4 3.0ghz with ht technology)
dfi lanparty sli dr
fsp fortron 500 watt psu
a data vitesta 2gb ram dual channel
sapphire ati radeon x800 256mb 256 bit gddr3 pci express

so this thing cost me around 900 bucks. So how is it? Also i never heard of my ram company, but after doing research on it, A data is a huge company around the world.

Yes, its a pretty good rig. I too have never heard of that company.

Med-High, good amount at High too, depending on your resolution.

I am thinking at running at 1024x768 85hz, then will i run at high?

If you overclock your card a little bit, yes. If not, a few will be on medium.

But with 2GB RAM, idk..

Also guys my friend has a weird thing with his game going on, he has the same rig as me, but just with OCZ 512mb 2-3-3-8. And when he walks he can see lines moving on the ground while he is moving. Any1 know a solution for this? Is the game suppose to act up without 1gb of ram?

It tends to. Tell him to get at least another 512mb stick, if not another 1GB would be a good idea..
It may be the video card too, what video card does he have?

So if he got another 512 or 1gb stick, will those lines dissappear? I think so since b/c BF2 is such a resource eater that it did not have enough memory from the pc that it is starting to take it from the GPU? maybe just an idea

its probably a driver setting. I notice it too; you have to set the "Image Settings" to high quality. Otherwise the drivers use some optimizations that cut corners to improve performance (raise fps), but make the graphics look slightly worse.

Yeah, that's happened to me too. Of course I only have a GeForce MX 4000 at 350/550 or something like that. Whenever I run BF1942 it sometimes likes to do that.
