lol did i ever say that i didnt want advice? no i dont think so dont accuse me of saying that i did.... I realy appraciate the advice guys and yeah im still kinda confused ill try seeing if there is anything else. Will a compaq monitor work with any other computer?

yes it ought to. Probably uses a VGA, and most cards come with an adapter for that. But really, everything is color coded and well documented... no harder than putting a desk together.
BTW, my motherboard came with a LOT more in depth and complete instructions than my desk.

All your peripherals should work on another PC. Like your monitor, mouse, keyboard, speakers etc. I didn't say you said you don't want advice, your posts are speaking for themselves. An X300 will maybe run BF2 on low if it's even supported. For medium settings will need at least:

AMD 3200+
Decent motherboard
1Gb of ram
6600 GT/X1600 XT

I didn't say you said you don't want advice, your posts are speaking for themselves. An X300 will maybe run BF2 on low if it's even supported. For medium settings will need at least:

AMD 3200+
Decent motherboard
1Gb of ram
6600 GT/X1600 XT

my friend has a:
P4 @ 3.4 Ghz
512mb DDR2 PC3200
X300 128mb

he plays BF2 on mostly medium some low and gets over 30 FPS in every map

even at 800x600, I highly doubt he can get 30 fps constant, which already isn't very playable. linky.
Anyways, that doesn't mean the OP should go buy a prebuilt x300 system.
