id keep it as for me the 9800 maybe a turnoff from anyone buying it as its an old card

But at the current specs id say £500 to £700 on ebay. ONE TIP make it look good as the ebay pc market in the UK is quite BIG!

Hm...probably around $1000-$1500

You are high. $300-$450.00 tops. It is used, no centralized warranty no garuntees, no one with a lick of sense will pay more than $450.00 for it. Plus it is an Intel based system.

You guys need to consider that parts in the UK are more expensive than in the US.

Hence why we wouldn't buy parts from the UK

ive decided to keep it as a second pc, im just getting a new rig with one of these:

"Gainward BLISS GeForce 7800 GT"

holy hell its:

Core clock 450MHz
512MB
1300MHz
9.80 billion pixels/sec
41.6GB/sec

its better then most gtx's, and £100 cheaper, you lot got these in usa? apparently there's only 2000 been made

$600-$800, $900 MAX should be the price tag for it, at lowest should be around like $500

Really? Hmm, might want to look into the eVGA.

Stock it comes:

470 MHz Core
1.1 GHz Memory
+ Lifetime Waranty on the card even if you remove the stock cooler, with the Copper Edition cooler though, you won't need to. It runs super cool from the factory.

Oh and I paid $280 for mine.

yeah ive seem them, but that gainward is alot faster plus the fact its 512mb, and it £258 dunno what that is in dollars but remeber stuff is expencive as hell here in the uk. thanks for the input

that is a very resonable price and since it is an OLD intel system with AGP it is not worth all that much.

i can remember paying for an old dell back in 2000-2001 for 1200$
P4 1.6 400FSB
256mb of ram
20GB HD
AGP 4x ATI RAGE 128 pro ultra 16MB

i would not pay more than 25$ for it now.

Seriously, dont sell it. Keep for an extra rig, backup pc's are not a big deal till you need it. I have 3 rig in my house and they are all functional and are capable of playing bf2. If you really want to get rid of the pc, be a good guy and find someone who really needs it, like a single mother in school, with no money to purchase a decent pc. I dont know how old you are, but if you do hook a girl up with a pc, you may get your floppy booted.

It depends, you can't just give it away unless your loaded, alot of people here don't have alot of money to spare, so they need to sell their old rig in order to purchase a new one with part of that money, lightens the load on the payment.

Gainward? Hm...I don't think Ive ever heard of them before. You might want to try a different brand that a lot of people use like eVGA or BFG.
