J-Train is always the first to jump on anyone's rig. I personally find it very annoying. Seriously, why rip on someones pc? Is it to make yourself feel better? Of course hes the leader of the bandwagon in rippin on P4's as well. I tend to be nice to everyone on the forums, but J-Train truly pushes my buttons.

I do not jump on everyones rig, but I am very anti-Pentium. I will partially agree with you.

WTF does that mean? I have 3GB of RAM so I can BETA test Windows Vista sh!thead. And my SLI'ed 6800GS OC's work just fine. I refuse to pay top dollar for a video card that will be obsolete in 4 months, especially an ATI.

Ok, so pay medium dollar for two nearly obsolete cards? I'm sorry to say, but todays platforms and hardware are not meant to run Windows Vista. It will be the end of the year before you see anything like that.

I will answer your reply 1st, I am in the Vista Beta group, I will be testing it on this machine and it will run on todays hardware. Argue all you want about it, those are the facts.

Explain to me how I can't properly design, build and maintain a simple PC. Do you never make mistakes? Must be nice to be perfect. How was I to know my bios would reset my CAS Latency considering it was the same memory timing. There is no real point in talking to you guys, all you ever do is profess a knowledge of all things, greater than anyone elses. I never claimed to be the end all be all of computing, but who are you to tell me to "get an education"? I admin 30+ servers, 400+ PCS and 200+ G4/G5 Macs, in addition to 100's of switches, routers, modems, duplexers, concentrators and other devices I am sure you know about way more than me. Not having the 411 on the same minutia concerning you l33t gamers does not mean I need an education. The fact that I troubleshot my own computer and fixed it with zero assistance (especially from the likes of you) should prove that I know enough, and I should as I have been a tech for 10 years successfully building, repairing and maintaining PCS, Servers and all sorts of other network equipment. Having a real technical job does not leave a lot of extra room to fill my head up memorizing CAS Clock timings. If you do, more power to you.

You made a thread dedicated to bitching out people and blaming them for the mistake that YOU made.

Anyone who doesnt check the BIOS for settings when they install new hardware, is kind of kidding theirself as far as being a PC Tech (atleast core hardware such as RAM).

If you don't know how to do such things without getting a temper and basically insulting everyone around you, then i dont see how you have the tenacity to administer such a large network.

I took full f*cking responsibility for the mistake, and I am a damn good PC tech, and have made a good living off it since Jan 16th 1996. I really don't think that a simple BIOS brainfart necessarily makes you a bad tech. I guess you are perfect Jordus. How is that working out for you?
