dude, GUYS! 6600 gt or X1600 Pro?

I was looking fo vid cards on newegg, and i found these two. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130220 and this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102666. which one should i buy? i heard the 1600 better, but then someone else turns around and says the GT is better. So im in a pickle and i dont know which on to buy. Help me out Please!

Im leaning torwards the 1600 because of 12 pipelines. but people say they are bottlenecked by the 128 bit. If anyone has any other suggestions in this price range, please post

Any way you could add another $30 to the money you have? That could step you up to a 6800GS.

Ya I would definetly reccommend the 6800 GS, 6600 Gt sucks(I have one and I get about 20-30 fps)

do u have the 6600 GT? or do u just have the 6600. they r a big difference.
i would go wit the 6600 if the x1600 bottlenecks. if it doesnt.... go wit the x1600.
-if u can, like all others would say, go bigger. x1900 or 6800/7800

no u dont! u got normal 6600 256mb! i get 60-90fps on bf2 all max with my 6600GT getting 7800GTX next year

nighthawk what are u willing to spend cuz for about 190-220 u can get a 6800 GS which would be really good and run high settings.

theres one for $190 after a $40 mail in rebate.

between the first two, with x1600 all the way. more pipes, newer chip. they both have 128bit BTW so you cant judge by that. the x1600 is much better and I back up getting that card. it will also last longer for newer games as well. plus if you get it with 256mb memory, thats a huge factor right there.

the 6800gs is better than the x1600, yes, but it costs more. it depens on what you are willing to pay.

Through my extensive knowledge of graphics cards, i can't comment n this. Cause i simply have no experience with the X1600 series, cause nobody debates about them much at all. I would ASSUME that they are better than 6600GTs, and benchmarks back me up. But i would have to agree withother people, if u can spend extra money, get a 6800GS, i KNOW that that card pwns the two u just posted.

see i dont have 190 to spend only about 140 or 50. so im gonna buy the radeon. just cause i trust radeon more :)

hehe o yea. i have a 9200 right now by vision tek. and im getting 50 fps CONSTANT. because i overclocked my northwood to 2.2 That made a huge difference!only have 512 mb system memory too. all medium except no dynamic stuff or aa.
and if you are wondering how it works i used the thing where you copy the pixel shaders form the 1.12 patch to the new folder in my documents
