SmokeySnipe - Nah. I'm just not a bigtime gamer. I generally like strategy games like CIV and Total: Rome which tend to be less graphics intensive. I'm using BF2 as a platform and your experiences to benchmark Total BF2 opinion. That's all.

If ur not a big time gamer, don't get a 'big time' graphics card. DOn't spend more than 200 if ur not gonna play much, or else it's not worth it. I rec buying a 6800GS cause it's cheap and good. And ya, at the time that BF2 came out, the 7series from nvidia was on teh brink of coming out, so it's not 'supported' even though it actually is.

yeah, my graphics card isn't on the supported list. it works damn good though.

its kinda sad reading this post coz im still playing with an nvidia geforce 5200 128ram... it was what i got when i bought this sony Vaio .. really trying to save enough money but with illegal drug prices getting inflated of course i cant afford a new video card just yet.....

on bright side i got 34000 global points while playing on this nvidia 5200
