It was a more powerful power supply I had laying around cause I wanted to put it into my pre-built. The wires for the original PSU weren't long enough to stretch to sit on my desk, so ...I used a GameCube as a stand. The 2nd PSU is on top, only plugged into my video card (e-GeForce 6600GT AGP)
Dude, you know you can remove the psu right? I have the exact same case:

Just push the clip down and pull the psu up, its not hard.

Yeah, I know I can remove the PSU partially. Didn't you see my other picture right below it? It's ontop of the gamecube becaues the wires don't stretch. I ended up putting it back in since (for some reason) it cools better.

        Shocked with what?

Lavadisk, is there a point to all this? You asked about PSU's, someone answered you, and all you want to do is whine. You can add components to you DELL without voiding the warranty. Just be careful when you do it, and all will be well. Now have your questions been answered? Good.

Wow I can't believe that people think having an open case with a second powersupply sitting around is a good idea. You are just asking for an accident to happen, and then bye bye PC...
