GTX, and with the 7900 they still won't have HDR+AA... YAY lets buy a 1000 dollar GPU so we can not turn every setting on

First off, the card will cost around the 600 mark, see anandtech. Secondly, where did you get the info that it won't support hdr?

it will support HDR but not with Anti-Aliasing enabled (see far cry, serious sam 2 it wont let you use HDR+AA on the 7800 and the 7900 is a faster 7800 soo...)

That makes no sense, you are assuming that. It's probably a drivers issue. But don't state such things. The truth is you don't know that for a fact.

yea there is nothing to wory about cause nvidia has never been loosing to ATI. Nvidia has been winning in graphics cards since the company got created.

But then it depends on the developer's implementation of hdr and AA doesnt it. Far Cry's hdr was just an unsupported test. Valve's implementation in the Source engine enables HDR + AA on all gpus going back to the 9700 pro.

Buyers should not be choosing their next gen gpu on the basis of hdr+AA in farcry. Trust me, all future games will take Valves approach of making as many features possible on as many gpus, the G70s have sold rather well, developers are going to support them for awhile to come.

It's all SM3 games. Valve uses an "artificial" HDR. (kinda redundant)

which 7800 did he have? GT or GTX?? also he might have not had the right forceware drivers.
The only way that is gonna finnish this flame that u just started is to wait for the 7900 to get released and we will see if nvidia is better than ATI.

Maybe when the 7900 is out, we should wait and see what ATI's next card will be before we determine whos best.

Wow, u have GOT to be kidding me lol. Hmm, 9xxx series vs. the FX series, hmm? Ya, nvidia totally pwns lol. And really, no, the XXX edition does not stand a CHANCE against the X1900series. Why don't u just stop being so biased to nvidia. I'm not being a ati fanboy if u think i am one. I'm am stating the truth, just like the truth is, the 7800GT is better than the X1800XL. Also, the 6800GS beats the X800XL. So, unless u can SUPPORT ur evidence that nvidia has ALWAYS been superior, STFU.

EDIT: Also, the XXX edition is NOT WORTH IT, it's just a GTX512mb that's been overclocked a measly 30 mhz. I could overclock to that speed easily.

You won't get far from talking through your rear orifice.

ATI HAS made some venerable cards in the past, particularly the 9xxx series. It definitely tromped on the FX 5 series of Nvidias.

I personally think that the X8xx series is not as good as the 6 series Nvidias, and i feel the same about hte 7series vs the X18xx series.

I'm willing to bet the 79xx will beat the X19xx, but thats to be determined.
