I doubt in a 64 man server those fps are kept at 50 during battle at 1600 res and being it's an intel bottleneck with a 7800 gt oc pushing it. Perhaps in single player sure with 16 bots that is believable. The 7800 gt is a good card but that is saying it's achieving 24 pipeline type performance. Perhaps it's overclocked with a fridge on it? lol

1280x1024 res 75mhz on LCD 2ms anyone who knocks lcd don't own the 2ms.
      everything high
      2x AA 16x anio
My fps on a believable scale on the biggest battle 32vs32 on 16 player spawn it dropped to 50's fps briefly this is with a 4000 amd pushing it. IRON GATOR now anyone who plays that map realizes what I'm talking about. If you attempt 1600 res there you will realize quickly what your system is made of it will be choked fast.
Now in single player the fps can reach 170's to 250+ in some areas because the action is dead.

        Re: BF2 video options

Im still not sure, a 30" flat screen recently made my 19" homeless.
The monitor does upto 2560x1600, to sit infront of this is simply awesome.
        Rest of specs
        AMD64 4000
        2gig'o'ram
        2x 7800gt's
        250 gig hdd
        Audigy 2zs

Game doesnt like high res essentially and safe to say cards are maxed out. Attempting the money shot at 2560x1600 looks like this http://www.thegamingunion.co.uk/foru...tachmentid=374 but deffinately puts you into swap file and id guess about 1 fps at peak demand, certainly struggling, impracticle for everyday gaming. The screen shots tend to come out as 2mb png files when experiancing such slowdown.
With mainly medium settings and no aa you occasionally notice 'glitches', the odd black line and such but it is close to playable and i may stick with it http://www.thegamingunion.co.uk/foru...tachmentid=373 seems to belt out a reasonable fps but i think i settle for a lower res and upped fps.
At the end of the day the cards werent really made to do this.
1280x1024 on the 19" looks like http://www.thegamingunion.co.uk/bzb/artyagain.jpg with all the beans on.

I have a 6800 - play at max res and all settings on high except lighting which is det to low - otherwise it is pitch black when I am inside buildings - looks sweet on my system and runs smoothly

further to my post above fraps tells me I get about 90fps on a karkand 64player map when all is quiet and this drops down to 55fps when theres heavy action
