I play 1600 x 1200 at 75 Hz refresh rate, 1280 x 1024 100 hz, 1024 x 768 120 hz
8 AA, 16 AF (from windows).
Get around 50-60-70 fps.Comment

radeon 9800pro 128mb.
all medium except texture filtering is low.
framerate is alright in normal BF2 but kinda sucks in SF. VERY SUCKS in iron gator.
I heard turning dynamic lighting/shadows off helps, but i havent tried it yet.Comment

how come you guys have settings for AF? you can't do that in the BF2 video options, can you (only AA)? just change it in your graphics settings?
does it help in terms of better FPS or it's just for eye-candy?Comment

Antistropic Filtering actually lowers your frame rate (or can at anyrate, if your card isn't beefy enough), but sharpens up textures at a distance and can help get rid of some shimmering and swimming of textures that are very far away.Originally posted by r0uJe

I like my FPS to stay extremely fluid. I won't tolerate any hiccups or stutters, so I keep my settings reasonable.Comment
