Re: x1900 owners....
Why buy this now? You better waited for a month when the new Nvidia is due. Than you would be buying the Nvidia card because it will blow this one in pieces or buy this card for alot less. Doesn't make sense to me. The new nvidia card is due the beginning of march.Originally posted by disposableherothat's what i was expecting. i'm just wanting to see how excited everyone is after getting the card.

Re: x1900 owners....
who cares if the 7900 blows the X1900 to pieces (which it won't) The 7900 still wont have High quality AF and HDR+AA what would you rather have 120 Awesome looking frames per second or 150 ok frames?Originally posted by Darksniper75Why buy this now? Re: x1900 owners....
Yes, lets all wait a month so we can only get them on ebay for $2,000.. That is until they decide to piddle out a couple more to distributors, where we might be lucky enough to get it for about $800, 3-6 months from now..Originally posted by Darksniper75Why buy this now? I used to be pro ATI, but lately I am finding myself really not liking nVidia as much as I thought I would.. This ASUS 7800GT Dual has left me with a very bad taste in my mouth for Nvidia, so I am personally looking harder at the X1900's..Comment

Re: x1900 owners....
I don't say he should buy the Nvidia card per se. I say that he either can buy the x1900 card cheaper or buy the better card. After that it will take at least three-four months before Ati responds again.Originally posted by [=RDR=] RadoNYes, lets all wait a month so we can only get them on ebay for $2,000.. Re: x1900 owners....
My point is, the 7900 will not be easy to get for under 1k for the first few months after it is finally released. So really, telling people they should wait is bad advice if they need a card now. I wouldn't expect the 7900's to be in stock, and available until mid May.Originally posted by Darksniper75I don't say he should buy the Nvidia card per se. "The 7900 will be a more advanced core and so be able to handle aa+af more efficently" according to NVIDIAOriginally posted by [DC]M4guy624who cares if the 7900 blows the X1900 to pieces (which it won't) The 7900 still wont have High quality AF and HDR+AA what would you rather have 120 Awesome looking frames per second or 150 ok frames?
who is saying the 7900 will be $1000 why would nvidia want to do that if they are bringing out the 7900 to compete with the x1900Comment

Re: x1900 owners....
It would be nice to see some facts. If you like Ati more, fine, I don't, I like Nvidia more. But we all know the 7900 will kick the x1900 ass. Personally I would have waited for it.Originally posted by Death Merchant"The 7900 will be a more advanced core and so be able to handle aa+af more efficently" according to NVIDIA

Where is your proof??? So all you are saying is BS, and you are full of it. And the 7800GT Dual is not and Nvidia product it is a Asus product go bitch at then, yes they are nvidia gpu's but never intended to be operated in tha manner.Originally posted by [=RDR=] RadoNMy point is, the 7900 will not be easy to get for under 1k for the first few months after it is finally released. Re: x1900 owners....
ok so less of a performance hit with AA + AF, still doesn't mean they have angle independent AF and HDR+AA... its going to be funny when UE3 comes out and all the 7900 users complain because their "superior" card cant run it with AA and HDROriginally posted by Death Merchant"The 7900 will be a more advanced core and so be able to handle aa+af more efficently" according to NVIDIA
