I bought for DELL quality and it was $750 less than that through my wife's company discount, i couldent get the XPS with a discount so I got that one.

My mate had a DELL and 1. His GPU fryed (Smoke was coming out) 2. The harddrive went corrupt within 3 weeks and DELL did NOTHING about it.

I built my PC for £1000 which I think is around $1700............

ROFL I feel sorry for you.
Could have built something just as good for under $1,000.I could get a killer machine running everyhing on high for under $2,000 by just building it.

Dell quality? What are you thinking...
$750 less you could have built something a lot better.

Not reall as I diden't want a desktop, I wanted a laptop for portability as we have so many damm computers in this house taking up space laptops are the way to go, but lappys are still more expensive than desktops.
