Anybody know of a good PC manufacturer like IBuyPower.com that is located outside California? I am a California resident so I would have to pay a few hundred in sales tax if I bought from IBuyPower.com.

Re: Good PC Manufacturer Outside California?
Try building your own. Not sure if this will help you with your tax issue or not but it could cut your initial costs by almost half compared to comprable pre-built computers. I just did my first build myself and found it to be a very satisfying accomplishment. The only other suggestion I have would be to run, run far away from California as possible.
Good luck.

I bought for DELL quality and it was $750 less than that through my wife's company discount, i couldent get the XPS with a discount so I got that one.Originally posted by sackynut=(, 2000$???? ouch, kinda expensive. especially with that gfx card. its a good rig but not for that price. my laptop was 800$ less and has better specs. But whatever, Dells are good because they are strong and they last.Comment

Could have built something just as good for under $1,000.I could get a killer machine running everyhing on high for under $2,000 by just building it.
Dell quality? What are you thinking...
$750 less you could have built something a lot better.
