Okay, listen carefully, because I will explain it only once. Perform the following steps:
- Check the Wattage on your PSU, you need at least a 350, but tbh a 450 is the real minimum with your setup!
- Get the latest drivers for your mobo, soundcard and any secondary equipement you've hooked up
- Get the G-Xtreme drivers from www.tweaksrus.com , they alone will boost your cards performance by 20-25% and that is no joke. You'll thank me later.
- Get KILLDISK, a low-level format utility
- Use KILLDISK to do a low level format aka Setting your Harddisk in the same state when you bought it. It doesn't just erase the directory structure, but actually overwrites all sectors with zero's.
Install Win XP pro. Install all the drivers. And run BF2 and 3DMark at the best settings.
Cheers"
