Here is a screenshot with all medium settings and high texture filtering. notice how am i just staring at the ground almost. notice also.....the 20+fps LOL how homosexual.

no no those screenshots arent clear for some reason i dont know why but anyways they are clearer trust me..hmm but its just for you guys to see the fps.

is it normal for my fps to go down to 20 in super intense fights and then be 40-50 fps throughout the game? coz thats what im experiencing? or should it be higher?

Ya, in intense firefights, ur FPS goes down, when just standing, it goes up.

i have a 6800 stock and i run everything on high so if u cant run the GT on high then well someting is wrong

i have 1gb of ram btw

holy f*** i ust played bf2 and i got 20fps on 64 player map (strike at karkand) with everything on high.............then i put medium on dynamics an still the same **** fps. WTF IS THIS???

Lol, it's sometimes the other way round for me :p. Are the USMC hangers on Cleansweep like some kind of mega lag generators? I stand there and my FPS goes down to 30...

I have asus n6800gt ($20?) newegg athlon64 3200+ 2gigs corsair 2raptors in raid 0.

I can run everything on full settings at 1280x1024 with average framerates from 40-60

When you get a new graphics card, processor, motherboard or whatever. Reformat your computer for BF2. I know it's stupid but it sure helps.

Ya, BF2 was randomly freezing and CTD when i got a new mobo, then i reformated and it stopped doing that. Also, my FPS went up.

Did you use the new drivers for nvidia i did you use the ones that came with video carded? if you whould did then get the ones off the net

same here but i have 2 gigs of ram and that really help with the map loading times. always the first couple of people to start a map.

I tried putting everything on high except dynamics and texture and the fps was the same. rofllmao. now ill try everything on high. Oh the lag will hurt.

what fps should i be expecting with all settings on medium an 2x AA on 64 player city maps? I want to kno pls because w/o firefights i get like 50-60fps but when it gets in firefights its like below 20fps now.
