This is my very first post on any type of Battlefield 2 forum! I took about a two month long break from the game (~October-Late December)I have played the game since EA launched the demo, and my first post also contains a question.
I have pretty decent HP desktop. I got it back in April-May. It came with a gigabyte of RAM, A 3.00 GHz Pentium IV, and an 80 GB hard drive. The card that I bought with it was an NVidia Geforce FX 5500. For some strange reason, my computer's motherboard did not come with an AGP slot, so I have to stick with a PCI for now. I am going video card hunting at Best Buy tomorrow, and I have a $200-$250 budget. Can any of you give me any recommendations on a decent NVidia PCI card that can allow me to run the game comfortably above 800x600 at all the low settings?
(preferrably 1024x1280 at all mediums or higher, with a good frame rate)
