    4 sticks... don't!

tbh expensive ram is highly overrated, unless you run benchmarks. And we don't: we play bf2! My $115 2gb of non-branded ram (from Ebay USA) that uses Samsung UCCC chips runs at 230-250ddr, 2.5-3-3-7 @2.7V. Not bad for $105+$10 shipping!

Your 1gb Mushkin is £135... if you're thinking about changing specs on your ram then get 2gb of my samsung UCCC or go for the 2gb 'value' OcUK ram. Some users on the message boards were reporting those sticks were using the Samsung chips.

Both the 2gb of 'value' RAM from OcUK is highly rated if you check their forum. Some clock well, some only run at stock. But like I said: we play games, not benchmarks -so that 2gb is really gonna help, whether it's running at 200mhz or 230mhz.

Don't get 4 sticks, it forces your system to run at 2T which generally takes off 10-20% performance. I'm not saying it's gonna take off 10% of your fps in BF2 but for the same price you can get 2gb of good ram in 2 sticks.

    Peace!
    Gary

PS -I am speaking from experience here, and own a 1gb pair of OCZ PC4000 stuff that costs around £230. My 2gb set perform better than the leet 1gb pair; obv. bcos double ram (helps enormously in bf2) and also bcos they clock well with the right mobo. You've got a mobo that gives you some control over your OC, so why not take advantage of it n get some 'value' ram and squeeze the juice out of it with your mobo.
