I would personaly go with diffrent ram, the latencies on thoes are really high for 512 sticks.

I'd go for a diffrent MOBO as well.

How much do you want to spend on each of them?

There's nothing wrong with the MOBO, jhust I personaly wouldn't choose that one.

Re: New pc can you check it?

Trusted brands? Crucial is not trusted? Their 2X1GB memory are the best ocers right now.

You really need to get 2X1 of RAM instead of 4X512. With 4 sticks, you will be running at 2T instead of 1T and that's a bigger performance hit than loose timings.

yeah i had the old 300w version and the air filters were great.... will 450w be enough for the 7800gt?

should be enough, I'd get the PSUs from Newegg.com because they are cheaper, like a 500w there can go as low as $20

                          where's the sound card?

for the money that you are going to waste on the above computer you could get laid...

You don't "need" a sound card.

And don't ever buy a $20 PSU, I don't care if it's 700W. You try cutting corners with your PSU, you'll have one big ass paperweight. You're best off buying a case with no PSU and then buy a PSU seperately. Yes it'll cost you more, but it's a safe bet.
