ive heard of people overclock a singlecore 3700+ or 3800+ athlon to speeds above that of a FX series and outpoerforming the FX series, for less than half the price. Dual core isnt THAT worth it, unless your gonna be doing other stuff at the same time.

Why not get an opteron 165 or 170? They have 1mb L2 x 2 instead of the 4200+'s 512 x 2.
