Re: It's finally time for a VIDEO CARD upgrade!!!
If you can wait a bit, the new ATI's are suppose to be out next month, maybe it will lower the prices of some of today's cards, also if you can't wait, i would say to try to get a 7800GT, but besides that i do believe that the 6800GS is an awesome card.Comment

Your sig says your graphics bus is PCIE.. If so, 6800GTs are approx £200 and a 7800GT retails at approx £230. If you can afford £230 get the 7800GT which is a current rather than last generation card. If your budget is more like £150-£170, a 256mb 6800GS would be a good upgrade and overclocked a little, has performance comparable with the 6800GT for considerably less cash.
6800GS review
Ebuyer sells comparatively cheap hardware, including the 6800GS and 7800GT.Comment

Re: It's finally time for a VIDEO CARD upgrade!!!
Also looking to upgrade, have a geforce 5700 LE 256MB AGP card, albatron MB, 1 GB Kingston HP RAM. Custom settings close to medium, gameplay is OK.
Is PCI express different than PCI, meaning will it work in a PCI slot?
There are so many choices I am a little confused. Looking for advice on a good choice around $200 for AGP. I cant find the 6800gs in AGP
Thanks! :)Comment
