    Re: Corsair Xms

XMS shows slightly higher benchmarks even when not OCed compaired to Value, but not enough to really say so. You really get it to OC. If you don't plan to OC, stick with your 2gb of value because like everyone said, the brute force of more GBs is still more powerful.

WHen u want to overclock, u buy higher frequency ram, as in like pC4000 ram instead of pc3200 ram.

Umm... That doesn't really make sense. I mean, there are a lot of DDR400 modules out there that OC way better than some DDR500 setups. Just because it has a higher frequency doesn't mean it's going to be great for OCing.

U get PC3200 ram for the fact that it has good timings, this gives good performance WITHOUT overclocking, and to overclock, u must loosen those timings. THe PC4000 ram has loose timings and only gives good performance cause it overclocks very well. Just ask other experts like Wreck or Flanker (both are common in the hardware section). Anywyas, i would have to agree would ur last statement, PC4000 value ram ain't gonna beat PC3200 high performance ram (XMS, OCZ gold/plat, Ballistix etc.).

The crucial ballistix have been dropping like flies. Buy a set if you like to RMA your purchases.

waste of money, their value memory will do just fine.
