    Corsair Xms

i have 2gbs of value select, these are currently $10 more a gig than the value select, are they worth it? or does the price say it all?

the value select is fine if ur not overclocking but if u wanna overclock teh xms has a good heatsink that can withstand high temps.

The stuff you have now is fine, but you should try sell the stuff you have now and get 2x1gb sticks to replace the 4x512mb ones you have now.

Yeah, it is a good deal, but ur replacing 2gb of value mem with 1gb of high speed memory. THe brute force of more gbs is still better. ANyways, if u wanna overclock ur CPU, get PC4000 (ddr500) ram.

I would definately go with the XMS series over the value.

          I have 2g XMS pro. :)

I have XMS in my 2ndary machine and I couldn't be happier with is performance. I was running BFV w/a P4 2.4, 1GB DDR400 (XMS), Radeon 9500Pro, Audigy2 ZS better then most people with their "omfg uber l337, sk33t sk33t sk33t" machines. I laughed when people complained of lag because I never got any.

                            I wouldn't get 4x512mb, get 2x1gb.
