It should be sata compatible with an i915 chipset. If so I'd get the Western Digital 320Gb 16mb cache Sata 2.0 drive that was just released. Retail is around $150.

ur board is definitly sata compatible. i wuldnt go to best buy they are generally overpriced. try newegg.com or tigerdirect.com they have realyl good deals.

You need 2 harddrives of the same size to run RAID. SATA uses...a SATA cable and IDE uses an IDE cable. SATA is faster, and SATA2 is twice as fast as SATA...150 vs. 300.

If you can't get a Sata II WD then at least get the 400GB 16mb cache version. It's only difference with the first one I posted is the Sata I/Sata II. Thats just the transfer speed of the drive and really is limited to by the speed of the hard drive and isn't necessary.
