I have a 9600Xt and it runs fine, just a few minutes of lag on the first load but other than that, I havent had any problems. Im running everything medium, and 1024 X 768. But I just ordered a new computer the the eVGA 7800GTX and 2 gigs of ram, so it might change.

i have the 256mb 9600 XT vivo and i play on high setting pretty good but , normal play on medium settings , i just updated my drivers and its very good so i tested it in high al round and it was fine, i only had problems b4 the updated of 5.12, but she sweet, m8

Aye, that is does. The key phrase there is "if you can find one." I had the chance to grab a 9700 AIW card, but it was out of my price range, unfortunately. They discontinued the 9700 line for some reason or other. A very, to say the least, annoying decision.

i got mine from ebay its in my older rig and still going well

and its got a year of warranty left
not bad for $80

I have a 9600xt 128mb runs fine on med settings for me. If you can try and save up about 100bucks and you can get a x800gto for 169.00 here:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102619

A 9600XT could easily run BF2 on med. 1024x768, 40-60fps.
