    lol, go nvidia

and it all it needs is 4 screws, the copper heat sink is thick, and it has a thick arctic silver pad for the chip read to set, unlike the nvidia heatsink, which takes about 5-6 screws, you just screw it the top with a plate, and add the ram plate...look like damn body armor

OMFG ATI's bios are retarded, they have my fan running at 5% no wonder I'm getting over heats. What dicks.
WOW- That's crazy! You should be able to get great temps now. Have fun with the OC'ing. I've had mine up to 590 core and 650 mem. I keep it at 550 core and 600 mem.

I kicked my fan up to 90% right now to cool my card down, needless to say holy crap has it worked.

I'm running at 572/592 right now, not that much on the OC, but I'm at 38*C.

Re: Arctic Cooling Silencer 5 Rev3

lol i cant go above stock clock, but my temps stay low, longer life span now, and not only that, since the fan blows down, the chipset fans sucks in all the cool air going down, so that even stays cold

Re: Arctic Cooling Silencer 5 Rev3

I bought the Zalman for my 7800GT. My main reason for choosing it was weight and it was in stock. My current overclock is 470/1150Mhz. The card idles at 37 degrees celsius. On my 6800 GT I mounted an Arctic Cooler and it really keeps the card cool but the whole card bends from from the sheer weight of the thing. I think that's why ASUS uses a metal stifferener on the side of the 7800GTX card they ship with the Arctic Cooler..

Yah, I have an Artic Cooling Freezer7 on my P4 3.4 and I just installed an Artic Cooling Freezer7 Pro on my friend P4, both are awesome. I am oc'd ideling at 39*C and he is at stock (3.0 or 3.2Ghz) running at 33*C.

Re: Arctic Cooling Silencer 5 Rev3

Hahaha, i get good temps without needing a aftermarket cooler. idle is around 30/31C and load (on BF2) is like 52C. BUt all of my case is all really cool so, i think it's more of the fact i have good airflow (i have my processor running at 26C lol). Tip, if u have a HSF for ur GPU that is similar to the one i have, or something like a arctic silencer, remember to use a compressed air can. I went from 43C idle to 30C idle just cause of that. THere was TONS of dust there (i had a crapy case at the time, i had no filters on my fans.
