I just got it today, and i oced my card to 470/1070 from 445/1070, and temp did not even go up, they dropped, i would idle at 47c before with stock everything, right now its at 38c, and 50c when playing SF with the OC, i had to drop it back to stock because of artifacts all over the place, if you have a 6800 and abouve, get this cooler its worth it

It also looks like putting armor on your card

i wanted to post pics but i have the worst, and cheapest digital cam around, even if i put it on a stand, it comes out blurry

This thing is huge, compared to the stock cooling, take almost two slots

Hey, that's the same thing that I have on my card. It's the only one that'd fit my AIW card. It does a great job on it, too. Goes from 400/325 up to 465/325.

The RAM clock is what bothers me. Before I installed the Rev 3, I could get up to 445 on it, stable, no artifacts. After I put it in, ATITool regesters artifacts at anything over 325. Even with my new copper RAM sinks it won't do it. If I use RAD Clocker on it, I can bump it up to 445 just fine, and play games with no artifacts. So I really don't know why ATI Tool has gone screwy on me now.

No if you can use a screwdriver, you can put this baby on. I have 3, one on a 6800 vanilla and an x850 PRO, and an X850XT PE. Awesome temps, low 30's idle and never over 55 full load. It even dropped my case temp by 2 degrees.

Same that you have. It did practically nothing to my card temps. I still get overheat warnings at stock speeds.

I know for you this is a stupid question. But in the ATITOOL did you adjust the fan settings?

I'm using standard ATI drivers with the Cat. Control Center. I don't think I have a control for fan speed.

You should go get the "ATITOOL 0.24" . You can adjust the fan. I have a feeling that the bios has the fan set for the stock. I have my fan adjusted by temp, 40% at idle and 100% under load at 52c. I hope you will check into it. If it doesn't solve your issue, maybe you got a bum product.

I hope so too, thanks for the tip. Hopefully this fixes it, because I want to OC my card a bit.

OMFG ATI's bios are retarded, they have my fan running at 5% no wonder I'm getting over heats. What dicks.
