New Graphics Card fro BF 2?

Im getting a new graphics card and want to be able to support BF 2 on high or medium (preferably high) with all that lag like when i try to run one setting on medium with my NVidia Geforce FX 5200. I want to stay under $150 but could go up to $200 if necassery. What should i get? 256mb+ and supports BF 2 on high/med

the 6800gt iste best, it's a little over 200 but kicks any cards under it's price.

definitely get a 6800gt 256mb (AGP) or a gts (if you are pci-e).
absolutely best bang for the buck, easily overclocked to ultra specs.
you can run everything on high if you also have more than 1gb of ram. otherwise put texture quality to med or you'll get stuttering

LOL I was bout to say. 'DIdn't you want a card $200 or under. I have a eVGA PCI-E 6800 GT and I paid $379 for that about 8 months ago. You need to go to www.pricewatch.com or go to newegg.com You will find some good buys there. Start looking for like the 6600 type of cards or lower for that price range.

I just bought a radeon x700 pro at Best Buy. Normally 200 but with a 100 mail-in rebate which is awesome. I haven't used the card yet but all of the reviews on Newegg say it can play at high settings.

And I haven't used it yet because it's a xmas present. I'm chomping at the bit. I have a 9600XT now and it can play at mediums settings so the x700 should handle high no prob.

I'm not sure if they still have the special or not. I got the card on Saturday or maybe Friday.

I have an ati 9800 pro and I run everything on high with dynamic shadows off and it runs fine. Although the 2 gb of ram I have helps also. Cpu is an AMD 64 3200+

Also the card you posted the link too is PCI Express which is different from just PCI.

Yes it needs a PCI-E slot, which if your computer came with a 5200 in it won't likly have one on the mother board.

It didnt come up on the Dell site but the 4700 had one and i found some specs on the internet and i think i have 2 PCi and one PCIe
