    Logitech MX1000 & MX510 both drifting in BF2?

I have a Logitech MX1000 Laser, and MX510 Optical, and after a wile, they both will start to drive on screen, when the mouse is totally still. Both of them do it the same way, they drift down, and to the right, like an uncalibrated joystick!

Is anyone else having these issues? I am about ready to toss them both out the window, and go with a Razer Copperhead! -Thanks!

I'll try that. I did that with the MX1000, but not with my MX510 I am using now.

Well, it worked for a wile, but it still drifts.. The one change I can say, is that it drifts up, and to the left now.. Anyone else have any suggestions? -Thanks!

I don't use Setpoint, I have the MX1000 without any problems. Also check your controls and make sure you didnt' accidentaly set the joystick to a secondary so that BF2 is reading that when you're still with the mouse.

Completely uninstall the drivers and any software for the mouse from Logitech, then reinstall everything. Make sure you install Setpoint or if you don't and you hit the scroll, it'll give that error everytime.

did that , and still the same, all other buttons are working fine except the scroller button, i used it to go from driving to gunner in a land vehicle, worked for a while, good too, never changed anything, then it kept crashing.

Still sounds like a driver problem, did you d/l the latest one from logitech or use one that you've had from before?

What kind of mouse pad are you using?

With my old MX-510 mouse, I had this problem too, once in a while. A simple change of mousepads solved it.
