Yes... thats the reaso for the DFI Lanparty and the Very Quality 2gb RAM... im not planning to OC the 4000+ that much but im going to see if i can unlock some pipelines in the 7800GT...

The mobo should have a gigabit ethernet port, so I wouldn't worry about that. I would go for a opteron proc though, either a 144-150 is fine. You can't unlock any piplines on that card though, nvidia severs the last quad with a laser.

Damn... hmm if they have any that are already Oced... like yours... them maybe ill find one like that...

Opteron im not too fond of and dont really want to really OC that high since the processors out now a days are not really needed to be OCed...

Ill stick with the 4000+ for now and this is kinda going to be a gift to myself after christmas

I'm gonna say one more thing, and then I'll let other people have their say. You might wanna look for a hd that has a 16mb cache, it should give you a nice speed boost, since drives with a 16mb cache perform as well as a 10k raptor.

For true perfomance gain with sata 2 small raided drives and use a bigger ide for your pron. The XFI instead of the 2z.

The 2z is fine for what he wants, and there really is no performance gain from raiding two drives over the one I picked out.
