Yeah, my bro got his built with the help of his friend and his friend's Dad. It was buggy at first, but now its a really nice rig. Now I'll finally have a nice computer than him.. funny thing is he's younger than me! At least I have the car! Hahaha

Haha. That PC is pretty decent and will run a lot of games on High. However, BF2 will run on a mix on medium and high settings with low anti-aliasing. The most demanding games of all will run on medium (especially if you overclock the processor which I HIGHLY recommend).

Thats the absolute best that you will get in your price range. Try buying it from anywhere else, and this PC will kill the brand-name.

I would build my own, if not then get a Dell. Ignor what people say about how they are bad because I paid $800 + $110 for Ram and I play on ALL high settings.

Sorry, disagree, I have had a Dell, they plain suck, do yourself a favor and do not waste money on a POS dell. Build your own if at all possible.

I'd definitely build your own. If anything build it over the phone with someone that knows what they're doing. I built my first PC out of necessity since onsite service never showed up to redeem a warranty. The easiest way to do it is use an existing tower, and learn how to install the stuff by removing the old crap. Its really extremely easy. Only things you can mess up is mixing up plugs or connections to the power buttons and messing up the CPU heatsink install, which is still a breeze. Oh yeah, and installing windows, which is still easy.

You need to remember to allow at least $100-$150 for a Windows XP operating system. Someone earlier didn't mention that.

Hell I didn't even notice that he was from Woodbridge. I grew up there pretty much from ages 4-18yrs. Now I live near Charlottesville, VA about 1 1/2 hours away. Maybe you can buy the parts and I can throw it together. Let me know if you wanna work something out. Small world.

Thats all you need for the tower. If my calculator is correct, it comes out to roughly $763 which leaves you room for Shipping and Handling, Tax if applicable, and any other parts you might want.

The 6800GS is better than the 6600GT and performs on par with the 6800GT. Not to mention it overclocks very high. If you want to overclock the processor, you will need to use a memory divider since the memory will not overclock.

try to get 2 gb of memory and a faster amd64 chip 3500+ if possible. newegg rocks, but zipzoomfly will save you money and get it to you faster. get a real 500 W power supply. 350 is not enough.
