Wreck why are you so surprised that the 512mb version of the card isn't "crushing Ati" as you hoped. It's the same exact core and only using higher clock speeds. For example the 6800 Ultra 512 isn't a big difference from the regular 6800Ultra. The reason that GTX 512 performs better is because it's clocked more than 120mhz higher than the regular GTX. But it uses the same 110nm core. Meanwhile ATI's all new 90nm is getting less FPS. I don't understand why you expected something "amazing" from a card that's already been out minus the extra 256mbs of ram.Comment

People fail to remember that both companies are using different architechures (spelling?) so they are not the same, hense the reason why they can't using the same exact ram or even PCB boards.
This new card is just insane...but for that price, I think a pair of 7800GT's might do a better job price/performance wise...unless the e-**** is what you strive for =PComment
